elise—toro y moi

i tried to decipher the genre-combination that toro y moi gathered on this track, elise, from his 2011 album, underneath the pine, but the genre assigned to it by the great assigner of music gave it a wildly appropriate one—chillwave. couldn’t have said it better myself. a classification inspired by summer 2009’s chillwave movement. check for it!
